LAKHIMPUR GIRLS’ COLLEGE:

NORTH  LAKHIMPUR

In response to the DHE’s letter no. G(B)/AC/Permission/123/2015/04 dated Kahilipara the 14th May, 2015 applications in duplicate are hereby invited for the  post  of regular Principal of Lakhimpur Girls’ College, North  Lakhimpur, from candidates having valid norms as per UGC regulation no. F.3-1/2009 dt. 30-06-2010.

Candidates  should submit  their  applications  with complete  bio-data  and  attested copies  of  all  required  testimonials from H.S.L.C.  onwards  along with the  duly  filled  in  prescribed proforma  issued  by  the  DHE. Assam and non-refundable A/C payee demand draft of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One  Thousand)  only  to be  drawn  in  favour  of  Principal, Lakhimpur Girls’  College,  North Lakhimpur within  fifteen  days  from the  date  of  publication  of  this advertisement.

Upper age limit is 55 years as per government notification No. AHE.17/2013/03 dated 26th December, 2013.

Qualification Required:

a) Master Degree with at least 55% marks  (or  an  equivalent  grade  in the  point  scale  where  grading system  is  followed)  from  a recognised  university.

b)  Relaxation  of  5%  may  be provided  for  SC/ST/Differently- abled  categories  for  the  purpose of  eligibility.  The  eligibility marks of  55%  and  the  relaxation  of  5% to  the categories mentioned above are  permissible  based  on  only  the qualifying marks without  including any  grace mark.

c)  Relaxation  of  5%  may  be provided  to  those  who  have obtained  their Master Degree prior to  29-9-1991.

d)  Ph.D.  Degree  in  concerned/ allied/relevant  discipline(s)  in  the institution  concerned  with evidence  of  published work  and research  guidance.

e) Associate Professor/Professor with  a  total  experience  of  at  least 15  (fifteen)  years  of  teaching/ research/administration  in universities/colleges  and  other institutions  of  higher  education.

f) Minimum API score:  40% of the API score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal in Appendix III required for direct recruitment of Professor in Colleges, i.e., 40% of 400 = 160.

No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates called for interview.

N.B.: Incomplete/defective applications or applications without required qualification and evidences will be rejected and no call letter will be issued to such applicants.
