Applications are invited for the posts of 3 Data Entry Operator in the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Dispur, Assam
Applications are invited from the Indian nationals, in the below given application format for 3 (three) vacant posts of Data Entry Operator (Pay scale- Rs. 5200-20200, Grade Pay-Rs. 2400) in the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer , Assam Dispur as per below :-
1) One Post - Un-reserved
2) One Post - OBC /MOBC
3) One Post - Un-reserved (Women)
Eligibility & Qualification:
i) Minimum education qualification – Bachelor of Computer Applications from a recognized university.
ii) Age: Between 18 years to 38 years as on 01/01/2016. Upper age limit is relaxable for reserved category candidates as per the State Government rule in force.
iii) Should be medically fit to discharge his duties.
Selection procedure: From the applications received, 45 (15 for each category) applicants would be shortlisted on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The short listed applicants would be required to under go written and practical test for assessment of their computer related theoretical knowledge, computer application skills, data handling, hardware handling. Merit list will be prepared out of these 45 applicants as per following weightage of marks.
Total marks: 100
Weightage:
i) 50% for marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
ii) 40% for marks obtained in the written test.
iii) 10% practical test.
How to apply:
i) The duly filled application in the prescribed format given below, filled in all respect shall be sent at the following address- Deputy Secretary (Establishment) Election Department, Block- C (4th Floor) Assam Secretariat, Dispur, Guwahati – 781 006
ii) The application may be submitted in person or by post latest by 4:15 PM, 7th December, 2015. Any plea for accepting the application, reaching after the last date of submission i.e 7th December, 2015 on the ground of delay caused by the postal department, courier etc shall not be entertained.
iii) The applicants shall enclose with the application the mark sheet of the qualifying examination and also the certificate. The applicant shall also enclose with the application his HSLC certificate for proof of his age and caste certificate by the applicant applying for reserve category post.
iv) The applicant should also enter in the relevant column of the application form their Telephone/ Contact Number, if any, whether Mobile or Landline.
v) The applicant shall produce all the necessary documents, certificates in original at the time of interview.
vi) The application should be carefully filled in every respect. The incomplete applications would be liable to be rejected
vii) A self-addressed envelope of 10" X 4.5".
viii) T.A / D.A will not be admissible for appearing in the practical test / interview.
